Welcome to St Joseph’s School, Tara! I joined this dynamic and friendly school community in February 2023 as Acting Principal then moved to the Principal role in January 2024. I come with 28 years of teaching and leadership experience which spans across four Catholic Dioceses within Queensland. Most recently, I was Assistant Principal: Religious Education at St Patrick’s Primary School, St George.

 As principal, I am keen to continue to develop the strong teaching and learning culture to improve student outcomes. I am also committed to fostering the Josephite charism which is clearly evident in all aspects of the school.

I base my leadership on being a ‘servant leader’, a focus on quality teaching and learning and most importantly always having the students at the forefront of our strategic direction.

Our school has a proud history of being linked closely to our community and I am excited to continue to help nuture those relationships together with you all.
