St Joseph's Primary School Catholic Schools

Our History

Founded by the Sisters of St Joseph’s in 1965, St Joseph’s is a coeducational Catholic Primary School providing a quality educational experience for students from Prep to Year 6. Our aim is to provide a safe and happy learning environment where students, parents and staff collaborate to encourage personal growth and lifelong learning.

The history of our school entwined in the Catholic Faith and the beginnings of the St Mary’s of the Angel Parish Church. We have also celebrated Holy and Feast Days and important days such as Ash Wednesday.

Our school has had a long history of community involvement e.g. Book Week Parades, ANZAC Tarcoola and cultural days relating to our communities within e.g. Filipino Day

Christian values lived every day

Every child achieving every day

Never see a need without doing something about it

Learning is great because:

My school cares about my child

Everyone knows me and greets me with a smile

My teacher helps me to learn

I am a learner

My friends and I play tennis and do gymnastics

I love technology, especially robotics

We do many exciting things

We learn to think of others

We have a great saying ‘Never see a need without doing something about it.’
